Daniela Jović [Founder & CEO]
Daniela Jović has been deeply involved in the European space industry, specializing in nanosatellites, launch procurement, international collaboration, and business development. As the Founder and CEO of ORBITALYX, she focuses on advancing the NewSpace sector, supporting startups and scaleups, enabling access to space, and strengthening Europe’s space ecosystem and infrastructure.
Previously, she played a crucial role at Spacemanic, contributing to the development, integration, and successful launches of multiple satellites. Among these was CroCube, the first Croatian satellite, which she helped bring from concept to launch and continues to lead as Mission Lead. Her experience spans satellite development, launch procurement, launch campaigns, partnerships, and international coordination across multiple missions.
Today, Daniela also works closely with European startups and emerging space companies as a mentor, advisor, jury and committee member, supporting business development, commercialization, partnerships, and international growth. Through ORBITALYX, she is also active in the field of launch procurement and access to orbit, helping connect satellite companies with launch opportunities, partners, and infrastructure.
With her colleagues, she has been recognized by the European Space Agency with the Pierre Cardin Prix Bulles award, while her work has also been recognized by Bloomberg Adria. Daniela has since been named among the Top 100 Women in Aerospace & Aviation and Top 50 Women in Satellite, while CroCube has received several industry recognitions, including the AIAA Rookie of the Year Award.
In addition to her professional work, Daniela remains actively involved in the international space community through mentoring, advisory, judging, ambassador and committee roles, contributing to initiatives that support the development of the European and global NewSpace sector.
